Summary/Abstract: Families which are choosing to participate in parental education programs show a particular concern for their education and their work should be considered equal to that made by teachers in schools, and for this reason should be welcomed with respect and appreciation. Both these families and institutions organizing training programs work on the noble task of helping new generations achieve educational success by promoting personality development in their entirety. Parental education programs are a response to the current social circumstances, which impose through their peculiarities, the use of new parenting practices that allow parents to grow children adapted to current social conditions but also flexible to adapt to future contexts. If we refer to the current context, we can say that the rapidity with which changes in the social sphere, the alteration of the family status, the anxiety manifested in the area of parenthood lead parents to feel the need for specialized support in order to acquire new practices for the exercise of parenthood. These purchases are necessary if we take into account that parenting practices are perceived as the most influential factor in children's outcomes.
