Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the advantages of using drama as a method of education in the professional training of future teachers of biology. The article presents and discusses the results of a study to determine the attitudes of future biology teachers on the application of the drama method and its educational potential. The findings suggest that the potential of drama-in-education to enhance competence for pre-service biology teachers is phenomenal. The students indicated that they would definitely implement drama in education in their classes as potential teachers since their exposure to this technique had contributed to the development of their critical and creative skills and their confidence.
