Analysis of Sport Career Development Factors on The Example of High-Class Competitors

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to determine internal and external factors relevant to the conduct of a sports career in the opinion of high-class athletes. Research material is information collected from 59 people practicing various sports disciplines. Among them there are 37 people practicing individual sports and 22 practicing team sports games. The research results indicate that the impact of these factors on career development is assessed by the respondents as definitely supportive. Comparison of the opinions of respondents practicing individual sports and team sports games provides the results of a stronger, more favorable influence of internal factors on the career development of athletes from team sports games.
