THE SONG "SKANDERBEG SOLDIER" BY FRANQISK ANTON SANTORI AND THE SONG "A LETTER CAME TO THE BRAVE" BY JERONIM DE RADA

Summary/Abstract: Short Description: Our study will focus on the analysis of the song "Shturi bënd, shturi ndonat" (Skanderbeg Soldier), which is in the manuscript variant in the Archives of the Institute of Linguistics and of Literature of the Academy of Albanological Studies of Tirana. The motif of this song, was elaborated by Franqisk Anton Santori in the still unpublished novel entitled The Albanian Soldier for the Ottoman Empire of 1420. The interpretive analysis of the compositional structure of the subject of this song will be made in approach with the song "I erth një lëpush trimit" (A letter came to the brave) by Jeronim de Rada published in his famous collection "Rhapsody of Arberesh". The subject of the song "Skanderbeg Soldier" by Franqisk Anton Santori is spread on in 140 verses, while the subject of the song "A letter came to the brave" by Jeronim de Rada has 61 verses.
