The Child as an Explorer and Creator – in the Focus of European Pedagogical Concepts

Summary/Abstract: The article presents basic accents in the pedagogical concepts in some European kindergartens that focus on the inexhaustible potential opportunities of children in pre-school age. In most of these concepts, children with their curiosity and aspiration for studying everything unknown take the role of little explorers and creators. The kindergarten teachers have the determining role in stimulating their abilities.
