On the Adaptation of a Medieval French Play for the Jordanian Amateur Stage: The Experience with ”Le Vilain Mire” in Dialectal Arabic

Summary/Abstract: In 2008 we began to script a fable entitled ”Le Vilain Mire”. The main stages of this translation are tracked on a tripartite plan which will first focus on the present text makes to play, then shows the aspects of this adaptation of the medieval comic scene for Jordan today and finally which will explain the changes intralinguistic made for the subtitles in Arabic.
