Summary/Abstract: The review presents a book that is a preliminary work regarding our Solar System, as, according to the authors, theresearch concerning its geology comprises the first step, the one of hypotheses and gathering of data. It is an updated book, relying on the latest theories on the geological processes that affect the common matter, in all its aggregate states and its existence, the Sun, planets, dwarf planets, planetoids, asteroids, comets, meteorites and cosmic dust, as well the space occupied by the solid extra-terrestrial bodies that compose the Solar System. Well structured, the book familiarizes the reader with the geologist’s art, who, from a wide range of information, selects what isrelevant for understanding a cosmic event.
