Summary/Abstract: Objects of research are sites of national memory in Germany and Czech Republic, devoted to St. St. Cyril and Methodius – creators of the Slavonic script and pioneers of the Slavonic liturgy. Nowadays these sites of memory – monuments, chapels – are centers of pilgrimage and com-memorative practices.
