Summary/Abstract: This article presents that since beginning the idea of matriarchy, it was used as one of the first community-based organizations in primary culture. Then, based on literature, the author classifies management styles and determines which of chosen leadership styles can be regarded as more female than male. This division is proven by literature. At the end of the article the results of empirical research are presented. The aim of the empirical research this study is to find an answer to the question: whether the matriarchy solutions are present in today’s organizations led by women, with a particular focus on family companies?
