Summary/Abstract: Simulacra, according to J. Baudrillard, is a symbol that is connected with a fiction. Such symbol has a potential to become a resource in territorial marketing. Using a reverse product placement technique it is possible to name several kinds of simulacra usage basing on the level of its diversity from the empirical reality. The aim of this paper is to present the possibilities of simulacra usage and the advantages and problems with this process.
