Summary/Abstract: In the context of high unemployment rate, which persists in many countries of the world, entrepreneurship has become a viable solution for the economic problems of the countries. Entrepreneurship education can be effective mostly in the initial professional formation, because sudents are close to taking up employment, and benefiting from a practical activity focusing on that can be an important option for them. The main factors which have the potential of influencing the situation of entrepreneurship are the following: the skills and competencies of the entrepreneur, the access to financing sources, the existence of networks and connections, entrepreneurial culture and capital, entrepreneurship education and public policies. Romania is among the first European countries when it comes to the way entrepreneurship is seen and perceived in society. The entrepreneurial programs and modules offer students the necessary instruments to think creatively and to be able to solve problems in an effective manner.
