Summary/Abstract: The purpose of curricular and extracurricular activities in the field of Natural Sciences is to encourage the pupils’ interest and curiosity about the environment, about the human-nature relationship. The majority of Biology classes are held in the school, in the classroom, in the Biology laboratory and its extensions: the Biology museum, the park of the school, the living corner, the greenhouse, the school lot etc. Categorically, some lessons should be organized in nature, as school trips and visits, where the children will apply in practice the intellectual and practical abilities acquired in the Biology laboratory. The purpose of this paper is to propose and to encourage students and their teachers to visit, for teaching purposes and not only, some of the country’s Botanical Gardens, such as ,,Alexandru Borza” Botanical Garden in Cluj-Napoca, the ,,Pavel Covaci” University Botanical Garden of Macea, Arad county, the ,,Vasile Fati” Botanical Garden in Jibou (Sălaj county). I also strongly recommend visiting the Zoological Museum of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. We wish everyone enjoyable trips!
