Summary/Abstract: The employees’ individual initiative considered as the element of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is the subject of this article. Those behaviors are free will, took up without additional salary and oriented on achieving organization and team’s goals. Among organizational citizenship behaviors the individual initiative plays particular part. Despite that fact it seldom sets mere subject of a study. The aim of the article is to systematize an interdisciplinary knowledge about the individual initiative. It poses a trial of a partial complement to existing experimental blank and creating a theoretical plane for further empirical research. In the article the analysis of the initiative’s symptoms and behavioral rates which allow to evaluate the initiative has been effectuated.
