Summary/Abstract: Managers of tourist enterprises track the market trends and analyze the risks that may have a negative impact on the financial results of their companies andmarket value. Analysis departaments of the leading companies operating in the tourist market monitor and manage the financial risk i.e.: foreign exchange risk, credit risk,interest rate risk and financial liquidity risk. In addition, they lead regular monitoring of market counterparties and competitors in order to anticipate the coming changes and market risks. The aim of the article is to identify actions to be taken by the leading tour operators in the field of risk management in their business in the market of tourist services in Poland. In the article there, were applied various methods, i.e. exploration method and ”desk research” method selected leading tour operators listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Test results may be an interesting cognitive material for other tour operators looking for ways how to respond to potential risks arising in the economic activities.
