Summary/Abstract: Wages in Poland, like in other economic and social processes, are subject to radical changes. It concerns not only their level, pace and direction of changes, but also disproportions in the area of professional groups, gender and region. The aim of the study is to determine wage asymmetry in 2010, 2015 and 2018 (values for the first half ofthe year) using data published by Central Statistical Office in the Bulletin. Employment and remuneration in the national economy. The thes is that has been subjected to statistical verification is: In the conditions of the Polish economy, the remuneration is much lower in individual regions than its average value in Poland in general.
