Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the process of democratization as a permanent and permanent obligation of states and societies. Democratization depends on many important factors that influence it. The result of democratization is a democracy that is broader and more complete with more rights and freedoms. Democratization entails fundamental political, social, cultural changes that are moving in a democratic direction. It can be a transition from an autocratic, semi-democratic or non-democratic system to a democratic political system. The result can be stabilization of democracy or destabilization. Democratization is influenced by various and numerous factors. The ideal results of democratization are for citizens to complete their rights, the right to vote, to exercise the rule of law, to improve the functioning of the system, to improve the standard of citizens.
