Summary/Abstract: IFLA Global Vision is a global initiative of IFLA with the aim of including libraries from over the world in order to create common guidelines for libraries in the future. The initiative was launched in 2017, and resulted in a large number of regional workshops held, with the participation of librarians from all over the world. Workshop IFLA Global Vision BiH was held at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo on July 11, 2018. The aim of the workshop organized by the Association BAM was to present the IFLA Global Vision initiative, but also to encourage the librarians of BiH to contribute to the development of a global vision and to define the common interests of librarians, as well as to formulate concrete activities at the local, regional and global level. Through the initiative, a report was created identifying the key common characteristics of libraries, but also the key opportunities that need to be used to keep the libraries the key element of each community.
