Summary/Abstract: Caplovic library of the Orava Museum of P. O. Hviezdoslav in Dolny Kubin keeps many important and valuable pieces of various scientific areas, including rare musical heritage. There are highly dominant medieval notated fragments among them, preserved in the form of parchment bindings. Due to wider exploration we have discovered that there are another – younger, but no less significant domestic and foreign production of prints, which are the subject of theoretical and practical understanding of Gregorian chant. Next post will deal with the eight previously unpublished music theory works, is to deal with eight unpublished music-theoretical works, wich represent a special witness of the living practice of Gregorian chant in the liturgy of Central Europe.
