Summary/Abstract: This article is a follow-up to the article entitled Return to Gregorian Chant in Teaching at Slovak Universities, published in the first issue of Studia scientifica Facultatis pedagogicae from 2015.1 The following lines will focus on the didactic aspects of teaching Gregorian chant in the academic area. The above-mentioned knowledge will be based on the author's long-term pedagogical experience, which reflects the most common problems in teaching this repertoire both in theoretical and practical terms. The following article has the ambition to become a small initial balance of the success of Gregorian chant education at the Department of Music of the Faculty of Education of the Catholic University in Ružomberok.
