Summary/Abstract: The article is a review of two books which relate memories, facts and events happened during the communist times in Romania. Even if the two books appeared at nine years difference they both have similar structure. The first one contains the testimonies of twenty‑seven people, alphabetically listed by their subject while in the second one the testimonies are arranged by chapters and signed in the end. Both books contain real stories happened in our country, some in our area, during communism era, told unbiased, lucidly with the wisdom people gained on times.
