Summary/Abstract: The author undertakes an effort to answer the question whether the observable, contemporary migrant movements – excluding coerced migration – is a specific trend in order to be labeled contemporary wanderers i.e. digital nomads. Further, she speculates upon the question of identity in flux (the process of emancipation and settlement), and in her description, she employs the ideas of ‘foraging’ and ‘dispersal’. The presented deliberations lead to an inevitable new identity model of ‘world citizen’.
