Summary/Abstract: The article observes the clear need of creative education addressed to educators in the context of today’s education and the role of teacher - creator in the contemporary education system is being analysed. The article presents in detail the process of teacher - creator education in the classes of General didactics study programme in Pedagogy; describes the process of teaching activity organization of young educators in accordance with the taxonomy of learning goals by Bespalkas, V.P. that helps gradually to take different levels of knowledge: not only to absorb the information but also to be able to apply the learning to non-standard learning situations, to become teachers - creators themselves. Furthermore, the article introduces the research revealing the ability of the students to deal with non-standard learning tasks and the expression of creative thin- king by creating and applying original educational activities in the process.
