Summary/Abstract: The present study emphasizes the question of the involvement of artificial intelligence in the commission of the criminal offense and the establishment of criminal responsibility as a challenge for the criminal parasite of the Republic of Serbia in these situations. Namely, first an explanation of the notion of artificial intelligence is given followed by an overview of the basic models of these systems. After that, possible abuses of the Artificial Intelligence systems are presented, as well as the involvement of the artificial intelligence system in the commission of a criminal offense. In the second part of the article, the attention is drown to the basic principles of criminal responsibility under the current provisions of the criminal law of the Republic of Serbia, in order to point out, at the end of his work, the possible links between the human actions and the actions of artificial intelligence in the commission of the criminal offense, as well as the possible ways of establishing criminal responsibility in situations in which the acting of artificial intelligence systems resulted with causing of criminal consequence.
