Challenges of hertiage protection through the relocation of the headstone necropolis Mramorje in Donji Cevljanovici, and their relocation to the Bijambare site

Summary/Abstract: For the purpose of constructing the road, as in most cases, in 1959. (the construction of the M18 Sarajevo-Tuzla) road was completed, the whole necropolis was relocated from its primary location to a secondary location, 30 meters to the west, as well as the southwest. The subsequent relocation was not carried out in an adequate way, and the arrangement and orientation of the monument was disturbed. The fate of the necropolis is obviously not to remain at its secondary location, and it is necessary to relocate once again to extend the road (Ladevici - Cevljanovici). Given that the request is justified, and the site has already been in existence for a long time, the headstone necropolis has been degraded and that a representative site for this necropolis has been provided within the protected natural area of Bijambare, we have joined the project of relocating the necropolis to a tertiary location.
