Summary/Abstract: The paper presents and discusses selected research findings regarding the teacher's self-efficacy. It focuses mainly on the impact of teacher's self-efficacy to teaching process and the success of the student. Specific attention is paid to the selected results of international research on teaching and learning TALIS 2013 (Teaching and Learning International Survey), especially the research findings regarding Slovak teachers, and compares the results with teachers of other countries involved in the research.
