Summary/Abstract: As noted in all modes of strategic management, no author yet has failed in recognizing business environment analysis as a key state in the process of strategic management. Tens of techniques for analyzing the external and internal environment have been developed by companies, researchers, research centers and universities worldwide. Some of them more, and others less famous, these techniques provide a platform upon which other strategic and business analysis in general, can and should be constructed. If achieving and maintaining a competitive edge is the main focus of strategic management, strategies and management in general, then environment analysis is a key factor in finding ways to be flexible and adapt internal forces to external pressures and changes.
