PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: The basis for the society development is the value and ability to learn because society as a whole progresses through learning. The acquisition and sharing of knowledge contributes to social cohesion. Without the learning of individuals, teams and groups, without the possibility of continuous learning and sharing of knowledge, without a collective vision of the importance of learning and support for learning, there is no development of human capital and organizational growth. Without of these there is no learning organization, and ultimately no learning society or knowledge society. Learning increases the capacity for success of an organization. It can be collectively generated in teams, but learning starts from the individual, it is individual matter and subject of personal knowledge management. As one of the knowledge management strategies is personal responsibility for knowledge, the aim of the paper is to present some theoretical determinations of personal knowledge management.
