Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyze selected ideas of Jan Amos Comenius and point out their topicality in connection with the concept of cooperative learning. As a starting point we focused on five ideas of J. A. Comenius, which at the theoretical level were further compared with the basic principles of cooperative learning.
