Summary/Abstract: In the symbol of the dove, Sabriso sees the image of the monk. The knowledge of the dove becomes the purpose of monastic existence, which goes through the act of mystical union. Through this association, Sabriso manage to describe the fulfilment of the monastic life over his ethical dimension, without neglecting the ethic. The description of the divine and human interaction is the permanent purpose of the monk. His way is the way of God and also through God. Like the dove, the monk announces his coming and his departure.
