Summary/Abstract: Arbitration, as well as the procedure before the courts, incurs expenses for the parties involved, which at the end of the procedure are allocated according to clear rules. While for the procedure before the courts, the civil procedure code establishes with some clarity that the party who fell in its claims will bear the costs in courts, in arbitration due to the voluntary and conventional character of this jurisdiction the rile is made by the agreement of the parties. This article is intended to be an incursion into the way in which the costs of arbitration are born and allocating them among the parties according to the agreement of these parties, the arbitration rules and respectively lex arbitri specific to the said arbitration, by presenting specific arbitration mechanisms by which costs are kept under control or insured and arbitration unrolls with resources provided by third parties.
