Summary/Abstract: The arbitral award is the expected outcome of the arbitration proceedings. It is the final document by which the parties receive the resolution of the legal relationship subjected to arbitration in the form that produces legal effects. In the terminology specific to public procurement, the arbitral award is also the deliverable of the Arbitral Tribunal appointed by the parties, proof of the fulfillment of the mission entrusted by the parties. What are the mandatory elements of such jurisdictional document and what must it contain in order to be enforceable under Romanian Procedural Law and 1958 New York Convention are some of the issues that this article will briefly address in order to underline the importance of the entire arbitral process.
