Summary/Abstract: Article provides insight into the procedural side and theoretical framework of the investigation of factors influencing education and schooling success of children in the research project of the Faculty of Education, Palacky University in Olomouc (context of the broader research project on which the data is based). It focuses on the differences in the level of measured basal functions according to the widely used methodology of diagnostic and reeducation exercises B. Sindelar in first grade intact pupils with diagnosed deficits of partial functions and pupils with suspicion of these deficits.
