Summary/Abstract: The conceptual changes in the global architecture of wineries has brought new meanings to the way of presenting the local winery complexes. Their architecture adopts a number of conceptual acceptations in relation to international perception and experience. The development of the concept that the visitor’s position plays a central role complemented by the concept of scenic architecture is explained by the influence of social innovations that contribute to the emergence of additional functions in winemaking enterprises. The purpose of the research is to highlight the current changes in the architecture of the complexes elucidated by describing the techniques used. The architecture of several objectives were analyzed: Camenca, Corjeuti, Bulboaca and Cuhurestii de Sus wineries, preserved on the territory of the Republic of Moldova from the 19th century until the beginning of the 20th century, the winemaking enterprises integrated in the underground galleries in Cricova, Milestii Mici, Branesti from the soviet period and the renovated or recently built wineries Château Purcari, Château Mimi (Bulboaca), the underground galleries Lion Gri (Ciorescu), Château Vartely and Poiana Winery. The research also reveals the problems of safeguarding the wine industry heritage of the country, as well as of reporting it to the touristic service in the last years through the formation of new spaces of the winery complexes, whose architecture redefines its attractiveness based on its cultural-artistic presence.
