Summary/Abstract: The present review tries to analyze of the novel of Ioana Nicolaie, entitled The book of Reghina. This book is a novel of a superb poetry of a feminine figure, presented as a mother, as a wife and also as a victim. The main character is Reghina, mother of 12 children, a woman who sacrifices herself for her children, for her husband, for the community, for her family and for her destiny. She suffers silently and her great power is the power of forgiveness. The author created an unique chracter in our literature, having the courage to write about domestic violence.
