- Page Range:3-26
- No. of Pages:24
- Keywords:emergency situation; war; conflict; propaganda; fake news; misinformation
- Summary/Abstract:The modern media space operates in conditions of excessive speed of the communication process, creating "waves" of information noise. The boundaries between truth and falsehood are becoming increasingly blurred, and the media field is becoming a convenient space for the emergence of fake news and propaganda, which are a real weapon in times of military conflict. The relevance of the chosen topic is dictated by the need to rethink the new social role faced by the producer of "News" in information management in the context of new geopolitical challenges. In the analysis, the author refers to the topic of the war in Ukraine and its media coverage. The objectives of the development are to try to define the producer of news on television, to set and analyze the need to build information security in making management decisions of the producer of "News" in an emergency situation (such as war), to the main problems and challenges faced by the modern consumer oversaturated with contradictory information are indicated; The research methodology is a complex approach, including systematic, comparative and content analysis. In the present study the concepts of fake news, misinformation, overinformation, propaganda and others are considered. The challenges for the producer of "News" are related to the need to remain faithful to journalistic ethical norms, and his decisions in covering events to be a guarantor of objectivity, criticism, credibility. Restrictions on media channels hinder access to information, which makes it difficult to present different points of view, which poses a direct threat to information security. Suspension of access to certain national media (under the pretext of propaganda) "mythologizes" the country in question in the conflict and could lead to an undesirable effect -the search for alternative, unverified sources of information, which calls into question the motivation of the media in presenting the information.

In the period 2020 -2022 more and more technology companies in our country participate in projects with their employees, whose mission is to present their company in the best way. Events continue to be a focus for PR professionals, and with the closure of physical offices and spaces, virtual and hybrid events have gained widespread popularity. Today, companies are increasingly focusing on mobile connectivity and social media presence, creating more video content and using new tools to communicate with their users. In the future, other important elements in the communication of technology companies could be explored, such as the application of artificial intelligence, online communities, and corporate social responsibility strategies.

(SURVEYING AUDIENCE ATTITUDES TOWARDS PERFORMING ARTS STREAMING WITH A FOCUS ON THEATRE)
- Author(s):Simona Nanova
- Language:Bulgarian
- Subject(s):Social Sciences, Communication studies

- No. of Pages:28
- Keywords:streaming; performing arts; audience; respondents; puppet theatre
- Summary/Abstract:Performing arts are a particular kind of synthetic arts that are performed live on stage, in front of an audience. The live interaction between the audience and the performers during the artistic interpretation of a play, opera, ballet etc. is their essence. Without it, they are rendered meaningless or transformed into another kind of art. At the same time, the ever-increasing pace of technology in our lives is leading to a significant change in the attitudes, habits and interests of audiences, as well as to new forms of cultural product delivery. Today, streaming platforms offer streaming and livestreaming of performing arts. What do audiences think about it? Do they believe there is a possibility that live art, in its quest to modernize and be present online, could become a hybrid and gradually disappear? Or do viewers like that? The research is prompted by work on a dissertation – ‘Streaming Platforms: a new distribution channel in the performing arts’, which is still in progress. The thesis will explore the large-scale influx of performing arts online and on streaming platforms in Bulgaria and worldwide. In order to investigate audience attitudes between September 2021 and April 2022, a closed-response questionnaire was generated targeting theater audiences. An equal number of people were surveyed in two ways - in the field and through an online survey, with identical questions and answers. This paper aims to explore audience attitudes to online performing arts experiences by analyzing the results of both modes of enquiry. The data will be examined both separately and compared to each other.
