Summary/Abstract: The development of flexible work organization is considered an objective process related to economic and technological changes, globalization, global competition and many other phenomena. Therefore, it is not a question whether to organize work flexibly or inflexible, but how flexibly and where to use the various forms, while maintaining a compromise between the flexibility of labor demand and the security of employment for employees. What, then, lies in the concept of flexible work organization? Is flexible working time and part-time work the only variants of flexible working time? How can you flexibly shape the tasks of employees? What organizational possibilities does teleworking create? Can the inconvenience of some contracts related to the provision of work be compensated by ensuring a work-life balance by introducing flexible working hours? Reading the book makes it easier to answer the basic question that both business practitioners and its researchers ask themselves: how to make the organization of work more flexible taking into account the interests of the employee and the employer? Its content includes both, a review of previous research on flexible work organization as well as the results of quantitative and qualitative research carried out in enterprises.
