Summary/Abstract: The need for Standards and principles to guide human behavior has always existed. Moral education has established itself over time as a necessity, an element without which a healthy society can not be built, with members able to cooperate, make responsible choices and make the right decisions. Moreover, moral education provides inner balance to the individual, ensuring his increased self-esteem, moral values are elements that inspire and motivate. Since ancient times, the school has also dealt with the moral education of students. The great thinkers of mankind considered the moral formation of the child to be one of its main duties, in order for society to benefit from members able to discern between good and evil, to live harmoniously in the collective, to achieve common long-term benefits. Moral education was considered a final dimension of religious education, with which it has great similarities, they are in a relationship of complementarity and causality.
