Summary/Abstract: Moral education aims to develop the human personality from a moral perspective, being always considered necessary, but difficult to fulfill. The period of primary education is very important from this point of view, the student being in the transition stage towards moral autonomy. Therefore, teachers must thoroughly know his age peculiarities, in order to be able to plan and carry out activities that convey moral notions that will be internalized, awakening appropriate feelings and stimulating appropriate reactions and attitudes, which will lead to the formation of skills, habits and moral traits. Given that at this age, the interdependence between conscience and conduct is becoming increasingly apparent, teachers can contribute to the development of all four components of the child's moral evolution: moral judgment, sensitivity, motivation and action. In primary school, often used methods that have shown their effectiveness are exercise in the form of play and direct observation.
