- Summary/Abstract:With the international moves towards more inclusion in education, there has been a demand for including teaching practice. Students with disabilities come together in a common class, fundamental division between special and normal schools, and thus the "normal" and the "special children" becomes irrelevant, so we face new categories and entities that follow an inclusive paradigm. This includes a common school space, diversity instead of difference, inclusion, educational assistance, and the like. This raises the issues and challenges for educators on how to manage the processes of teaching and learning, how to introduce new teaching strategies, use of the greater diversity of methods and tools, since a rich spectrum of student’s qualities and their needs is being established in a classroom. And it is a concrete question about what pedagogic approaches are useful for students with disabilities and difficulties in ordinary classes and whether there is a special pedagogy. Teaching approaches associated with special areas of special education needs in the classroom with different pupils are not directly transferable and usable, so we need to find approaches to be used for all students in “inclusive learning-friendly classroom”. Is it maybe the answer in inclusive pedagogy, a multidimensional inclusive/teaching/pedagogy that means different things to different users?

- Summary/Abstract:We live in an era of rapid information proliferation, which makes it challenging to retain excessive amounts of data during learning. However, the remarkable capacity of the human brain to store information comes to our assistance in this regard. Therefore, the role of the educator becomes a key factor as they design the instructional process to facilitate memorization. Significant emphasis is placed on visual memory and the methods for compressing information in teaching and learning. An efficient way to enhance the visual recall of input is via graphic representations. Thus, the academic staff must be familiar with and apply these methods during teaching/learning activities. This article outlines a set of graphical representations that allow for the logical structuring of information according to the instructional goals, thus engaging pupils/students in an interactive learning process.

- Summary/Abstract:Teaching Romanian as second language involves developing students’ abilities to communicate an oral or a writing message, beside their capacity to listen or to read and to efficiently decode the transmitted information. In the process of a new language acquisition an important role goes not only to the teacher who has to make a clever selection of the texts or of the listening material, all of them, preferable, based on authentic situations, but also to the students who should receive the information in a creative way in order to better understand it and to consolidate it for a long period of time. The article’s aim is to present a study case from the Petroleum and Gas University where students from the preparatory year show their creativity in solving communicational tasks. Even if the teacher provides them templates on different topics as: At the market, On holiday, At the restaurant, At the bank, At the doctor, etc. they are able to improve and to develop their knowledge and even to make a show from these interplays by adapting them to their intercultural and multicultural experience, fact that demonstrates they are able to understand, to internalize and to apply the new vocabulary and grammar information, and even to have fun during their lessons.

- Summary/Abstract:Responsibility represents a moral value criterion equally claimed as an imperative for all human manifestations, whether individually or collectively, whether in stable life situations or in anomic life contexts. Frequently, responsibility is invoked as a desirable component, as an imperative of existence, which necessarily transforms it also into content of learning. The present study focuses on responsibility as a structural element of the actual school syllabus (OMEN no. 3418/ 2013 and OMEN no. 5003/ 2014), applied to the curricular areas, respectively to the subjects for the primary education in Romania (OMEN no. 3371/ 2013). The curricula were analyzed using the semantic software Tropes v8. 2 (developed by Pierre Molette and Agnès Landré), available also into Romanian; by extracting a series of references from the text and then by their statistical approach, the relationship between explicit and implicit in the evocation of responsibility was highlighted both at the level of the educational subjects and the curricular areas.

- Summary/Abstract:The characteristics of primary school students, as well as the need to opening them to imagination, creativity, critical thinking, etc. justifies the use of playful learning at this age level. In this context, the present study proposes the analysis of alternative textbooks for the primary school in Romania from the perspective of identifying, in them, the premises for the use of playful learning in approaching literary texts. Teaching children’s literature involves, in primary school, reference to well-chosen supporting texts and certain elements of literary theory; playful learning can bring, in addition to the rigorous/ schematic approach of the theoretical coordinates, the necessary openness of children – through “what if?”, e.g. - to the nuanced implications of the characters and the action, to the sphere of emotions and ideas transmitted through literary texts, to new contextualizations and transfer of meanings.

- Summary/Abstract:The didactic experience of teaching - learning Mathematics in the preparatory class (CP) and grades I - IV, even of the implementation of mathematical activities in kindergarten, reveals an important amount of notions, relationships and properties that belong to the programs, but are not always rigorously integrated and presented. Hence the need for notional clarification and ensuring rigor in the use of concepts and arguing / proving statements, properties, theorems and solving exercises or problems. The present paper can achieve a part of this desired. Thus, after a brief presentation of the notions of equivalence relation and partition of a set, the connection between an equivalence relation and a partition and some concrete examples, we will present a very interesting partition of the set N, of the non-zero natural numbers, partition generated by two irrational numbers, but also the equivalence relation generated by this partition. We will also exemplify such situations.

- Summary/Abstract:Starting from the epigenetic principle that explains human development as being influenced by internal factors (heredity) and external factors (environment and education), based on an experimental design, the study presents the way in which the premises for the development of the personality of young schoolchildren are shaped under the influence of various educational practices of the family. The entire investigative approach is based on a case study that illustrates the evolution of a young school children during three and a half years in which he was observed, from the beginning of the preparatory class to the middle of the third grade. In order to collect relevant information about the family circumstances in which the child grows up, about the premises of his personality, but also about the educational practices shown by the family members involved in his education, a variety of methods, techniques and research tools were used, such as: the survey on questionnaire and interview basis, anamnesis, observation and observation grid, analysis of the products of school activities, the child’s school results and his behavior in the school environment, objective personality tests, projective techniques (test for evaluating self-image and self-esteem, the “Family drawing” test). The analysis of the data obtained following the observation and permanent investigation of the subject’s trajectory during the first years of school highlighted the way in which the educational practices applied by the parents are reflected in his attitude. Presenting different manifestations in the face of varied circumstances during the study dimensions of the subject’s personality were outlined and this reflects the attitude he has in relation to himself, his family, the school, and the others.

- Summary/Abstract:. In contemporary society, given the ever-increasing place it occupies, from the earliest ages, media and technology in children’s lives, a coherent and responsible approach is required to familiarize them with the implications of the information disseminated, with emphasis on receiving and decoding messages transmitted by media, on differentiating false / misleading / manipulative information, on critical reporting on messages, etc. In this context, the objective of this article is to identify references to media literacy in two types of documents: (a) the compulsory curriculum for primary school, in Romania; (b) lists of activities that schools (from urban and rural areas) in Romania have proposed for the “School differently” program. The identified elements will represent premises for analyses and projections at the primary school level, regarding both the exploitation of data from the compulsory curriculum, and the design of activities that involve media literacy.

- Summary/Abstract:Language acquisition in children that are raised in bilingual and multilingual environments involves intrinsic cognitive mechanisms and innate learning abilities. Studies have shown that the development of language skills begins before birth and that infants are sensitive to properties of language and speech. This paper consists of an observation of language acquisition mechanisms and challenges in a multilingual context, in the case of a young child. The analysis is focused on the management and achievement of early simultaneous bilingualism and on the application of certain techniques for promoting multilingualism, in the form of third language acquisition. The examination of several examples of utterances and samples of conversation emphasizes the child’s ability to juggle with multiple languages, to handle and use linguistic resources in an ingenious way, but also highlights potential challenges and difficulties that multilingualism might pose for the young learner.

- Summary/Abstract:The formation of moral-Christian values begins in the family, which wants the school and society “to be" their allies, to work together so that they (fundamental values based on knowledge, attitudes and behaviours) settle in the life of each young person and become morally upright people, complex personalities characterized by tolerance, respect, continuous personal development, for the benefit of their own and of the community. These Christian values can be successfully promoted, both in the school/ official curriculum, as well as through extracurricular activities (school camps, movie watching, actions to promote some values, charitable actions, patriotic actions, Greening actions, school celebrations, sports competitions etc.). Through the interview method, we collected data through which we intend to highlight the ways in which extracurricular activities support the formation of moral-Christian values, as evidenced by the statements made by young people: the internalization of Christian values, the manifestation of a religious behavior – helping others / volunteering, improving relations with oneself, with peers and, implicitly, with God.

- Summary/Abstract:In the context of the current conditions of the postmodernist society, the necessary skills as prerequisites for success in the 21st century of any young person refer to the „4C” skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity; digital and information literacy; flexibility, adaptability, initiative and pro-activity, social and intercultural interaction, productivity, social responsibility. Education comes to respond to these imperatives. An instructional model that is becoming relevant in this regard is project-based learning. One of the biggest problems related to the application of the project remains the assessment. One way of assessing students' acquisitions is peer assessment, through which students provide constructive and effective feedback with reference to the results obtained by their peers. Based on the results obtained according to the students' questionnaire, we determined that they encounter difficulties in the process of peer assessment, but they have a positive attitude towards this way of assessing the learning results.

- Summary/Abstract:Moral education aims to develop the human personality from a moral perspective, being always considered necessary, but difficult to fulfill. The period of primary education is very important from this point of view, the student being in the transition stage towards moral autonomy. Therefore, teachers must thoroughly know his age peculiarities, in order to be able to plan and carry out activities that convey moral notions that will be internalized, awakening appropriate feelings and stimulating appropriate reactions and attitudes, which will lead to the formation of skills, habits and moral traits. Given that at this age, the interdependence between conscience and conduct is becoming increasingly apparent, teachers can contribute to the development of all four components of the child's moral evolution: moral judgment, sensitivity, motivation and action. In primary school, often used methods that have shown their effectiveness are exercise in the form of play and direct observation.

- Summary/Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to examine the significance of the role of the Orthodox pastor in the Eucharistic education of the members of his parish. The introduction points out to the edifying importance of worship as well as the principle position of the priest in it. The exposition is presented in two sections. Section One reveals the essential activities of the priest in accordance with the texts of the Holy Scriptures as well as with the writings of some Holy Fathers. In those, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, priests are considered as educators, while the activities of the Holy Apostles are presented as a novel New Testament Christian enlightenment. In Section Two the Orthodox pastor is regarded in two aspects – as a priest serving in the alter and as a preacher at the pulpit. The educative power of the Orthodox pastor as a priest in the altar consists precisely of the fact that he stands at the head of the Divine Service, being a prayer mediator between God and the people worshipping at church. He is the chosen vessel of God's edifying Grace, which affects the human mind, heart and will. Through his sermons, the priest elucidates the substance of the Holy Liturgy and emphasizes the crucial importance of each Christian participating in the Holy Eucharist regularly. The conclusion summarizes the topics reviewed in the paper, one of which pointing out to the fact that the Orthodox pastor should enlighten the members of his parish, most of all through his earnest attempt to help them be embodied into Christ.

- Summary/Abstract:The activity of reading together with the child is one of the habits described in the literature as the most important way of connecting with children and stimulating their development. In today's context, reading has become a factor of holistic development, whether we are talking about reading at home or at school. The study Reading to Young Children: A head-start in life (Guyonne, 2013) built on several scholarly works and identified positive associations between reading activities by adults around children and children's later language skills. Regarding the provision of reading to children in kindergartens in Romania, the preschool curriculum foresees children's communication as a dimension of their development through the expression of specific behaviors (receptive communication, expressive communication, vocabulary expansion), which are exploited through specific activities, but without being described in detail.

- Summary/Abstract:Religious education at pre-school level is also determined by the parents' position on this issue. Being at an early age, children learn by imitation from everyone around them, especially their family, parents and brothers. It is important for the parent to be a role model for the child, to initiate the child into the knowledge of God and to continue at home what the kindergarten teacher does in this process of discovering God. The opinion of the parent is very important regarding the study of religious content at pre-school level, whether it should be studied, what content should be emphasized, whether or not the study of religious content is of pedagogical benefit. In the implementation of religious education in kindergarten it is important to have collaboration between teachers and parents. For the effective implementation of educational activities of a religious nature it is important that the educator also invites parents to participate in such activities, so that together they can work on the moral-religious development of children. How much do parents consider that children's study of religious content at pre-school level is very important is the question that led to a research that used a questionnaire as the main instrument. The research identified parents' opinions on the need to study religious education in kindergarten, the types of content that should be studied, and the benefits of studying such content for children.

- Keywords:education; Yad Vashem; virtues; character; Holocaust;
- Summary/Abstract:The paper aims to highlight the contribution of Holocaust Education to students' moral education and character cultivation by teaching character virtue. The educational philosophy developed at Yad Vashem has brought a significant change in teaching the traumatic events of the Second World War by valuing the human. The changing perspective has led to a shift from teaching the event itself, to the personal and community narrative, full of meaning and significance. Students are encouraged to learn, understand, and empathize with the victims through 'journalist questions'. Exposing them to the moral dilemmas faced by those involved at the time contributes to both reconstructing the complex world of yesteryear and cultivating the character of the students. However, this is conditioned by personal and community values, culture and ethos, factors that influence teachers and students' attitudes towards Holocaust education, as recent research reveals.

- Summary/Abstract:In the given study, I refer to establishing some methodological aspects of transdisciplinary intervention in ensuring the quality of chemistry learning regarding the formation of specific skills. The confrontation of the sciences with the complex aspects of reality determined the establishment of the connections between disciplines, as there are between facts, people, cultures, religions, and geospheres. But academic performance derives from the diversity of the didactic methodologies applied in the process of training specific professional skills focused on: curriculum modernization, didactic design within the ERRE thinking and learning framework, the implementation of student-centered education, the training of professional skills in an inter- and transdisciplinary context, and updating didactic equipment. The skills, values, and attitudes that our students today, specialists, and citizens of tomorrow need for personal and social success can be formed entirely through transdisciplinarity. The new education has the obligation to bring the educational process closer to the daily lives of the beneficiaries and the needs of the community in which they live, helping them to know themselves and approach a democratic conception, manifesting as a free, creative being.
