Summary/Abstract: The article shows the Polish textual equivalents of the Russian nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs as the lexical markers of negative emotions: sadness, anger, fear and shame. The examples were extracted from Oksana Robski's book День счастья − завтра and it's translation into Polish.
