Summary/Abstract: The text describes preparations before giving a speech in front of a potential audience. Attention is drawn not only to the need to monitor the audience and react to the signals it sends, but also to the need to prepare the speaker properly, for example through rehearsals, which affect the final effect. Thanks to introducing terminology the content regarding the preparation for a presentation in terms of vocal emission and managing stress can be more understandable. The key to a successful speech is conscious voice management, which in turn is possible owing to the integration of many factors and exercises. The chapter is supplemented with a set of exercises attached at the end of the publication.
