Summary/Abstract: The report presents the results of a qualitative study of the ecosystem characteristics of innovative educational practices, in order to identify and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. The data provide a basis for outlining the basic achievements and leading challenges facing ecosystem modeling. At the same time, they support the hypothetical expectation that through innovations, native education opens up to complex approaches and integrative practices that create opportunities for more comprehensive utilization of the potential of natural educational ecosystem environments, resources and cultures, which overcome the traditional closedness and conservatism of the formal system and forms of learning and teaching. At the same time, it is through ecosystem modeling that innovations in education can currently achieve the desired sustainability, quality and complex impact.
