Summary/Abstract: The report examines the scientific problem of what is the place of integrity in the structure of organizational culture and what is its importance for various organizational phenomena relevant to the effectiveness and efficiency of the behavior of employees. The concept of „organizational culture“ is defined and several models using the hierarchical- pyramidal or circumplex approach are examined - the models of Edgar Schein, of O'Reilly, Chatman and Caldwell, of Cameron and Quinn, of Daniel Denison. The construct „integrity“ is defined as behavior that is consistent with values such as honesty (humility, sincerity), selflessness and reliability. Counterproductive or unethical professional behavior is defined as the antithesis of integrity. Possible effective approaches and strategies for building and development of integrity as a component of organizational culture are described.
