Summary/Abstract: Restructing of the market approach necessitates the development of specific networks, the elements of which are free spaces (niche). Consumers may pay a special price because of the product characteristics such as quality, fast delivery, design and other benefits. Marketers believe that the mastery of a regional niche market provides a competitive advantage to companies using new technologies for the production of a wellknown product or change in consumers’ preferences. The objective of the report is to justify the need for the implementation of strategies for niche markets in the peripheral areas of the regions
