Summary/Abstract: Targeting research and innovation to generate more and better products for improving the quality and living conditions of Bulgarian citizens and for economic growth are fundamental not only in the policies of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria but also of the Union for Economic Growth in Europe . Over the past few years, the European Union has been the territory of an integrated strategic approach to stimulating research and innovation for the full utilization of the intellectual potential of the Member States. A number of steps have also been taken to provide appropriate communication and public awareness of the benefits of investing in research and innovation. Successful application of the results of science and new technologies to products, processes and services and the generation of competitive advantages depends to a large extent on their public acceptance. Very often, political decisions on the level of public investment in science and research that compete with other areas of public spending (eg health, social security, infrastructure, defense, etc.) depend on positive public opinion

The Republic of Kazakhstan is actively implementing new information technologies in the educational process to promote quality of learning materials. - Summary/Abstract:Megaprojects are extremely large-scale investment projects typically costing more than € 0,5 Billion. They include power plant (conventional, nuclear or renewable), oil and gas extraction and processing projects, transport projects and even cultural events such as the Olympics Games. Megaprojects are complex because they have long projects and product life-cycles, they are also unpredictable in term of time and scope, moreover they have substantial irreversible commitments, high probabilities of failure and skewed reward structure. It is their scale and their extreme complexity in both technical and in human terms, due to the huge involvement and the number of regional, national and international partners, that distinguishes megaprojects from traditional projects.

- Summary/Abstract:The paper discusses the relatively new marketing approach – the „experience marketing”, its basics, differences with the classical marketing and its components. Based on a desk research the theoretical framework is supported by cases of companies implementing successfully in their marketing the components of this modern approach. The second part of the paper presents the essence and instruments of the „content marketing” as a new approach in the company communication mix and the new marketing research methods in the last decade. Recent economical development, driven by technology evolution, changes the concept and practice of marketing and thus, also of marketing research (MR). It appears that the main challenge for MR-agencies is to find and keep people who match the new skills requirements in the field. The paper presents a functional competence model for MR professionals, which defines competence needs for all levels – from operational to management. - Summary/Abstract:This report aims to show the reaction of end customers to the economic downturn in terms of realized tourist trips. During the economic crisis, business travelers have canceled their trips, shortened their duration and their budgets, while individual tourists chose not to travel or limit tourist activities. At the same time, the hotels saw an increase in the supply of rooms, along with the reduction of their prices. Responsibility of the department „Marketing and Sales“ was to find a way to recover lost revenue, even when they were directly affected by the change in the market. Budgeting, time, personnel and morality have become key elements through which to understand how the sales department responds and what best practices used to find alternative sources of revenue

- Summary/Abstract:Located on a strategically focal point in the world business and political scale, the Black Sea region has always attracted the attention of economists, politicians, business leaders, academicians. One of the main institutions in the region that has played a vital role in its recent development and sustainable internationalization is undoubtedly the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. The way it operates, its management structure and decisionmaking processes are questions of interest – corporate governance interest. - Summary/Abstract:In the paper a critical analysis is made of the practice in stress testing in banks. On that basis, some aspects of the selection of European banks are considered and reviewed. Some new issues are outlined, as a result of the requirements of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision ‘Basel III’ and the European Banking Authority. An emphasis is put on the modelling of stress scenarios and „reverse” stress tests. Opinions of Bulgarian, Russian and Western European researchers on the issues of stress testing in the bank sphere are pointed. Interactive results of the stress tests carried out are presented, as of October 2014. The problems addressed are in the context of the global financial and economic crisis and the feasibility for new financial defaults in the countries of the Eurozone.

- Summary/Abstract:This article is focused on a detailed study of the Greeks and their use in risk management of derivatives (mainly options’ sensitivity). The importance of derivatives and risk management in the field of finance is briefly explained. These products influence significantly both on institutional (banks and financial organizations) and corporate (business investment) level. However, these products turn out to be one of the most difficult to assess and manage and in the article are presented some methods, which simplify these processes. All theoretical explanations rely on numerical examples in order to demonstrate the practical application of the methods and tools studied.

Feminist economics has shown that over 50% of all human work is unpaid and therefore is not recorded in GDP. Women’s economic contribution through the unpaid services they deliver is generally agreed to be an integral and necessary part of our economy and the social relations. It is time the contribution of women’s unpaid work to be measured and included in GDP. That underestimated women’s economic activity actually is an immense form of social wealth overlooked by economists.

The report’s aim is to analyze the main factors influencing the VAT revenues and the effect of changes in the tax on aggregate consumption and economic growth. - Summary/Abstract:Control is a management function that influence the behavior of individuals, social structures, because very often it is defined as a public relations between subject and object of control. However, the subject affects different objects based controls, inspections, audits and audits. All this defines the relationship of control and supervisory bodies are called to check and control the various phenomena and processes. This is not at all trivial. And their preparation and training is the foundation of proper organization of each control activity without which it is impossible to control the process. In this regard, attention is directed to investigate the feasibility of introducing special interactive teaching methods for the control and analysis in Bulgarian and foreign universities on the basis of a research project of the Academy of Economics

- Summary/Abstract:Using a time series model the research attempts to determine, measure and interpret sources of fundamental stock return in a given market. The paper builds on the assumption that big part of stock’s risk stems from global exogenous factors. If investors determine significant factors (a process called risk attribution) and remove their influence (a process called return decomposition), they’ll be left with fundamental returns unrelated inbetween and to said factors.

- Summary/Abstract:In a market economy the required public takings should be repaid obligatorily, gratuitously, irrevocably and in due time, and in accordance with the legal provisions of the applicable laws in the country. The rule is effective in the „nuclear” sector. This determines the actuality of the paper whose object is the financial obligations, and subject – the analysis of these obligations to comply with priorities of the „Europe 2020” strategy.

- Summary/Abstract:The goal of this paper is to test the application of P/E valuation on the EasternEuropean Emerging Markets. The results confirm the practical usefulness of the relative valuation approach and show that there are some arguments of the Leibowitz approach to use ROE as a main driver for the fundamental P/E ratio. Furthermore the empirical testing validates the notion that relative valuation is one of the best approaches to stock picking
