Summary/Abstract: This scientific communication has as main aim the analysis of the evolution specific to the Romanian migration phenomenon, as a result of an extensive process of transformation from a closed society, just like it was during the 1990s, to a society with more than three million of persons left to work abroad. In this context, are presented the main addictions of the migration decisions by making a synthetic picture of the Romanian migration system. The premise that grounds such an approach claims that, by informing on the manner different flows of the Romanian migration system are tied one another, one will be able to state a general framework of understanding the causal context of the subjective phenomena associated to the migration: the decision of migration, identities and so on.
