Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to show the impact of drama classes on the degree of students’ eloquence and the ability to write correctly and develop argumentation at the gymnasium Polish language exam. The theoretical part evokes opinions of drama theoreticians and practitioners referring to the use of drama in the teaching and upbringing process. The practical part presents the relationship between drama and language education of pupils as well as the results of OKE reports from 2016 and 2017 regarding the issues of linguistic correctness, and especially the correct construction of sentences. This part also contains the results of research carried out among junior high school students from the City and Municipality of Czerwionka-Leszczyny and their short description. The research uses the method of a diagnostic survey based on a survey technique, using a questionnaire as a research tool, a method of document analysis and a method of analyzing the outcomes of students work.
