Summary/Abstract: The presented material is about the perspectives for London as a financial center. After UK voted to leave the EU, two big and interconnected questions arise. Will London preserve its status as a global financial center after UK leaves the EU? Will London remain the financial capital of Europe and respectively financial center of the EU or another financial center in the union will attract, in fact will deprive London of business on a scale to replace it as the first leading financial center in the EU? The author presents the main characteristics of London as a global and European financial center and corresponding serious problems nowadays.
