Summary/Abstract: Phraseologisms are rightfully considered one of the most important linguistic carriers of information about the features of the historical, social and cultural development of the people, about the main features of its character, about the specifics of their perception of the world around them. Of particular interest for comparative study are phraseological units that have proper names in their composition. The purpose of this article is to analyze German and Russian phraseological units with anthroponyms, to identify and determine the type of equivalent relations between them.
