Abstract. This study reports on the adaptation of a personality inventory for the item response models by investigating its structure in order to identify unidimensionality and local independence. We started with the classical form of the BigFive Plus Inventory (Constantin T. , et al., 2008) and we used different techniques to refine the instrument and to identify the structure of the latent traits. First, we analyzed the distribution of observed data within each latent trait. Second, we performed a complete analysis of internal consistency to identify the items-scale relationships and the opportunity to perform a principal component analysis. Third, we performed a principal component analysis using categorical data (CATPCA), and based on centroids and vector coordinates we identified the structure of latent factors. 4647 participants from different socio-economic backgrounds, including students, corporate employees and employees of military structures took part in the study. The results revealed the dimensional structure of BigFive Plus Inventory and the procedures that need to be applied to achieve unidimensionality.

Since 2009, Tulcea Institute for Eco-Museum Research and UMR 5602 Géographie de l’Environement – Toulouse (France) have coordinated the project Société et environement durant le Néolithique et les âges des Métaux dans le delta du Danube (Roumanie). Teritoire des Hommes – Territoire de l’Eau. Considering the Danube’s important role in the development of prehistoric communities in northern Dobrudja, this project intends to study the cultural phenomena in this area in relation to the river’s paleogeographic evolution. First, our focus is to make a repertoire of the sites in Northern Dobrudja, situated in the Danube’s vicinity, outlining the area where future research will be developed. In this context, this study intends to discuss several interpretations formulated in time regarding certain Eneolithic sites situated on a segment between Văcăreni and Lunca, Tulcea County.

The UN International Year of Mountains celebrated in 2002 testified, among several other initiatives in the past decade, that sustainable development policies has to grant an increasingly relevant role to mountain areas, for their endowment in natural capital and their peculiarity of issues needing to be targeted by specific long-term actions. At the same time, EC and OECD emphasize the importance of evaluation as a strategic tool in the process of desig and implementation of development policies. The work aims at applying a strategic evaluation approach to local development in the Braşov County in România, focusing on the Southern mountain area. Policies and objectives are classified and compared to a taxonomy of needs and objectives resulting from baseline analysis, to identify policy issues.

The Coţofeni culture settlement from Tăşad (Bihor county) remained unknown to the specialists, although there are some information about the materials found here, known for more than four decades. The finds presented in this study resulted from the research made by Nicolae Chidioşan, between 1971-1984 on Cetăţaua hill (363 m). They were found on the entire site, but rarely come from a distinct level, due to hill arrangements in Iron Age. Unfortunately, there were not notified Coţofeni contexts, although their existence should be considered. Findings consist solely of pottery. More ceramic forms can be reconstructed: mugs, cups, dish, bowls, jugs, amphorae, vases with flattened body, cookware, dishes, jars, cups and pots with foot. The decor was done by impression, incision, Furchenstich technique, by fake string, pseudoexcision, applications and slurry. A ceramic bobbin also was found (pl. 13/7). The ornamental motifs are extremely diverse, considering pottery function and technique used. We note the presence of vessels decorated with incised hatched network (pl. 1/7 = 17/2, 5/1, 7/3, 9/2, 12/7 = 17/1, 16/1), the shaded rhombs (pl . 5/9 = 17/3) the “fishbone” (pl. 2/2, 5/8 = 13/4, 13/6) and the pseudo-excision (pl. 5/9 = 17/3 ), all motifs being specific to the final stage of Coţofeni culture. We notice the presence of rare or unique vessels in Coţofeni culture repertory, like the cup with foot (pl. 12/7 = 17/1) and the pot without necks (pl. 16/1). The existing analogies for Coţofeni settlement from Tăşad indicates a dating of materials in Coţofeni IIIc stage, with very good analogies in the discoveries from Câmpanii de Sus-Măgura, Prihodişte-Peştera Prihodişte, Româneşti-Peştera cu Apă, Băile Herculane-Peştera Hoţilor caves, or at Dubova-Cuina Turcului rock shelter and open settlement from Clit-Grueţul Negrilor, but also in cremation necropolis from Medieşu Aurit. In this horizon contact elements with Vučedol culture and Ostrikovac group are present. The presence of this Coţofeni late community in Crişana is due to a south impulse from the area of contact with cultural entities above mentioned.

This study aims to analyze the political regime established by the Constitution from 1991, from constitutional and politological point of view. The authors state that there isnot only a single model of semi-presidential system – the one chosen by the Constituent Assembly in 1991 but each country that has experienced this type of regime has tried to adapt it to its traditions and to its political and social-economic background. The authors emphasize on the fundamental features of the semi-presidential regime, and considering this theoretical basis, they analyze the institutional relations between the Parliament, the President of Romania and the Government. The Constitution of 1991 set up these relationships, so that the president of the republic gains the role of balance between the Legislature and the Government, considering the fact that the Parliament is the sole legislative authority and the Government carries out domestic and foreign policy of the country. The authors show that despite the constitutional provisions, more than often the institutional relations between the Parliament, the President of Romania and the Government have deteriorated, turning the balance of power in favor of the Government. Due to this imbalance in exercising power, the semi-presidential regime lost the ability to ensure a democratic government. Therefore, after the parliamentary elections in 2012, a legislative procedure has been initiated for amending the Constitution, in order to reconfigure the constitutional relations between the Legislative and Executive. Throughout this study the authors analyze the legislative proposal to amend the Constitution, which was published in the Official Gazette no 100 from 10th February 2014, and contains provisions which are likely to diminish the constitutional powers of the President of Romania and strengthen the Parliament's prerogatives.

The urban nightlife consumption is an important anthropogenic phenomenon that should be taken into consideration within the urban and spatial planning context, especially because its effects influence territorial evolution, as well as the population’s lifestyle and well-being level. The aim of the present investigation was the assessment and the radiography of the nocturnal urban life of Bairro Alto neighbourhood, in Lisbon. For this purpose, we combined a series of research methods, such as the literature review, the semi-structured interview, the participatory observation, the photographic collection, the cartographic method, the analysis, and the synthesis. Findings showed users´ profiles and highlighted their visions and preferences regarding the usage and functionality of Bairro Alto, yet revealing that night-time activities play a crucial role for territorial identity consolidation within the urban space, by fostering the social and economic dynamism of the city.

In the case of the Legionary Movement we could talk about a redefining of an identity of nationalism, which psychologically starts from “inside” of it, in order to transpose itself in the immediate historical plane. The morality proposed by the Legionary Movement is theoretically subsumed to Christian moral. The main doctrinal characteristics of Romanian Legionarism was anti-Communism, anti-Parliamentarianism, anti-Liberalism and anti-individualism, the organicistic collectivism, the cult of the leader, anti-Marxism, the need for moral and spiritual revolution, the cult of the elite and of the new man; but also practices derived from the doctrine: mysticism, conspiratorial organization, quasi-religious rituals, the cult of death and sacrifice, the cult of martyrs, the belief in the legionary generation’s mission to solve the Jewish “problem”, Messianism, the moral regeneration.

The notarial act represents one of the most important categories of civil legal acts. The lack of a clear definition of the term "notarial act" and the complex legal nature of the notarial procedure have generated contradictory discussions in the specialized legal literature.Following the example of continental law, the Romanian law and Moldovan law are dominated by the great consensuality principle. Under this principle, notarial acts represent a variety of civil legal acts, and in practice these legal acts are deemed to have been concluded when the parties reach a willful agreement on all the essential clauses. In Romania, the notarial act is defined mainly by the Law no.36/1995 on Notaries Public and notarial activity, while several regulations regarding notarial acts are found in the legislation of the Republic of Moldova. According to Moldovan legislation, the notarial act is the document drafted, signed and sealed by the notary, having public authority and the probative force prescribed by law. In this respect, the Law no.1453/2002 on Notarial activity and the Law no.69 /2016 on the organization of the activity of notaries ensure a comprehensive regulation of notarial acts in the Republic of Moldova.

Stochastic dominance is a method that refers to a set of relations, which may hold between a specific pair of distributions. However, the concept can be applied in many domains, but in particular in financial economic areas, where the considered distributions are usually those of random returns to different financial assets. The aim of this paper is to provide an implementation of a stochastic dominance algorithm that establish which of more risky indices is preferred more by investors who have an aversive risk profile. The study is performed on FTSE indices. The focus is to emphasis the imbalance between FTSE regional indices and FTSE sectorial indices. The analyzed period for regional indices is April 3, 2000 –September 12, 2014. As regards the sector indices, the analyzed period is January 3, 1994 – September 12, 2014.Its relevance consist in that, it offers a different perspective for investors when choosing between different financial assets. This approach together with Meyer algorithm has been proved that it is a useful tool in risk aversion analysis.

Over the time, it has been found that terrorist attacks bring to the fore the two entities that obtain immediate benefits only from the mere presence of the other one: terrorist organizations and the media.Even if both the media and terrorist organizations obtain certain benefits from terrorist attacks (audience, respectively advertising), they are not the only beneficiaries. In some situations, governments may speculate on this type of violence by exacerbating the terrorist threat and stepping up security measures, which often involve restricting rights and freedoms or diverting public attention from social and economic issues. The real goal of terrorism is not the act itself, but the reaction obtained, the effect, the impact, the cause of terror. This goal is also achieved with the help of the media.Terrorism and the media are in a relationship as complex as it is obvious. This is determined by a mutual distrust that intersects with a mutual need:terrorism needs publicity, and the media needs an audience.

The need to tackle a global crisis such as the pandemics calls for a reassessment of the theory of progress. This implies neither the impossibility of further historical progress, nor the end of history as such, but the steep decline of what Jean-François Lyotard called a “grand narrative” of progress which guided the modern European development. The recent global events could therefore mark the beginning of a post-progress era based on the end of this metanarrative. However, the debate initiated here does not aim to discover the effects of the language-games or to dissociate the “inhuman” of the technological development from the human, as Lyotard suggested. In fact, the figures of authority who fought for recognition during modernity, through scientific and political revolutions, are now facing a crisis of confidence. The scientist and the statesman are still expected to work on the separate fields of nature and society and to achieve certain results. Nevertheless, following Bruno Latour’s critique of modernity, we argue that this expectation fails, since it posits a modern, yet inoperative, separation between nature and society. The way a biological virus circulates today through the social networks challenges us with another major issue which is both political and scientific. The exhaustion of the West comes from what Latour called “work of purification”, namely the Sisyphean modern process of separating nature from society while paradoxically and simultaneously concealing and precipitating their hybridization. Since our modern world used to explain its progress by obliterating the intertwined nature-society objects, a postprogress era would mean the acknowledgement of the impossibility of progress under these terms. Consequently, the scientist’s and the statesman’s tasks will no longer be those stipulated by modernity, while the universal state based on modern assumptions ceases to promise the happy-end of our history.

The article focuses on the intermedial relationship between cinema and painting, viewed as a self-referential process, and tries to determine various ways in which this type of signifying process can be used to “encode” various messages (within the work itself), or become an integral part of this (meta)communicative operation. Starting from a broad definition of intermedial references and continuing with a brief recontextualized detour through Gérard Genette’s taxonomy of transtextual instances, the author narrows down a specific technique that exemplifies this type of “codifying” procedure, namely the tableau vivant. In accordance with Werner Wolf’s proposed terminology, he attempts to determine the metareferential potential of this extra-compositional self-referential technique. The case studies focus on films by Peter Greenaway and Lars von Trier.

The paper approaches acting from a phenomenological and psychoanalytic point of view. It sheds light on the intrinsic (i.e., invisible) resorts involved when someone is playing a role – or, better yet, assumes a role. In order to make these mechanisms visible, the paper relies on the premise that acting always involves an act. Using the Lacanian theory of acts, I demonstrate that there is a real process taking place when assuming a role, namely when the subject needs to objectify himself. This process can be traced back as far as the “time” of a pre-existent gaze. The aim of the paper is to substantiate the idea that it is necessary for the gaze to enter a dialectics in order for the subject to find its objective place. For illustration, two works of art are used: the performance The Artist is Present by Marina Abramović and the movie A Woman Under the Influence by John Cassavetes.

Computers, communication, and internet technologies have led to significant changes in learning and teaching. The constructivist approach in education puts learners at the center of the teaching process and actively makes them construct their knowledge, developing 21st century skills required for tomorrow’s world. Despite advances in the process of integrating technology into teaching, a significant gap still exists between promise and actual reality. Implementation of computer technologies depends on many complex factors, one of which is teachers’ perceptions of assimilating computerization into their teaching methods. This research is part of a broader study examining techno-pedagogical change in a high school in Israel. The current study focuses on the process of constructing, testing, and validating a questionnaire examining teachers’ attitudes toward pedagogical innovation and assimilating technological skills into teaching. The validation process was done by an exploratory factor analysis to detect cases with low variability and explore the dimensionality of each survey instrument. This was complemented by a confirmatory phase. The results showed high reliability and stable dimensions in the instruments. This study's importance is in constructing an original instrument that examines the extent to which high school teachers adopt innovative pedagogies assimilating technological tools. This study may have a universal contribution because the instrument can be used across countries and cultures.

NFTs are practically the newest form of digital expression – resulting from an activity of intellectual creation. From our point of view, we will argue that these digital works (creations) represent factual assets, even if they have an exclusively digital expression. As a result, they should enjoy legal protection, which is why in this paper we aim to analyze and present a perspective on the legal framework that should ensure the protection of NFT digital works. Thus, we will determine the legal provisions applicable to NFTs in the sense of the legal protection of these creations. We will pay particular attention to the provisions designed to protect these creations from the perspective of Criminal law. At the same time, we will formulate de lege ferenda proposals for the improvement of the existing legal framework in Romania.

The Romanian Literature has been summoned to bring into the spotlight creations that would embrace the projected ideological fiction, the incontestable superiority of communist order, the "golden' future of the country or the role of the "new human" in a world liberated from exploitation and conquer.Despite the fact that some of the writers consented to assume the official ideology, many others have written on keeping their aesthetic autonomy. This exasperating acultural climate forced them into finding means that would enable them to undermine (or at least avoid) the controlling doctrine. The critic contribution of researchers reveals the nature of the transformations that took place on the grounds of history of literature. The animated pertractations succeed in recovering, much to the advantage of the language of history of literature, the semantic avatars of the two key-concepts: proletcultism and socialist realism. If the Moscow proletcultism of the years 1918-1920, articulated and consecrated by A.A Bogdanov, proclaims the adaptation of the vision and proletary style in an anarchic-insurgent manner through disconsideration of party and state ideology, the Romanian one, specific to the years 1948-1950, cannot recover its sistemic congruency. The contours have been kept, yet the contents promote the party shared proletary culture.
